Oxford Solutions has a direct hire opportunity with our client in Wheeling, WV for a Technical Support Specialist.

- Provide technical support via phone, email, and chat to internal and external business partners and staff
- Log support issues into service management database
- Resolve as many incidents as possible while meeting monthly metric objectives
- Install firm software and provide basic knowledge of functionality
- Update documentation on technical configurations and provide mentorship to others using knowledgebase articles.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 3 years of help desk or computer/technical support experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft operating systems (Windows, Server, and Office suite)
- Proficiency in Mac operating systems.
- Knowledge of smart phone operating systems.
- Intermediate PC, Printer, and peripheral troubleshooting for various makes and models.
- Solid understanding of Active directory, Exchange, SCCM, Software Center, drivers, VPN, basic networking, and software troubleshooting.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work
- Excellent customer service and communications skills (verbal and written)
- Bilingual (French or German) a plus
