About the Job
Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and maintain client-server infrastructure to meet organizational needs.
- Perform regular system monitoring, analysis, and performance tuning to ensure optimal server performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve client-server issues.
- Implement and enforce security best practices to protect client-server systems from potential threats.
- Evaluate and recommend hardware and software solutions to improve the efficiency and reliability of client-server systems.
- Provide technical support to end-users and assist in problem resolution.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions.
Must Have's:
- Proven track record in customizing, deploying, and managing server and client operating systems.
- This includes system optimization, security patching, and troubleshooting for Ubuntu Linux, MS Windows, and RedHat Enterprise Linux environments.
- Expertise in managing LDAP directory services and a strong understanding of Microsoft FISMO server roles.
- This includes the ability to design, implement, and maintain these services in a large-scale, diverse environment.
- Extensive experience in writing and managing Ansible Playbooks for system configuration and automation.
- You should demonstrate the ability to create complex playbooks for multi-tiered applications.
- Proficient in Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) certificate management, including issuance, renewal, and revocation processes.
- A strong understanding of Domain Name System (DNS) configuration and management is required.
- In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with various Hypervisors such as CITRIX, VMWare, and Virtual Box.
- This includes setting up, managing, and optimizing virtual environments for performance and security.
- Experience in implementing and managing Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) solutions.
- Familiarity with remote desktop services and the ability to integrate VDI into existing systems is highly desirable.
- You should also be familiar with network security protocols, cloud infrastructure management, and have a strong understanding of server hardware and storage systems.
- An active TS/SCI with CI Poly.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven track record in customizing, deploying, and managing server and client operating systems.
Salary: $175,000 - $205,000
