About the Job
We have been engaged by an award-winning OEM of food process equipment to find a Technical Service Manager to Train and develop a team of about 20 aftermarket Field service techs. This role is on-site. Candidates should be in the Northern Illinois or Southern Wisconsin locations or be willing to relocate with relocation assistance provided by the company. Some travel will be required. The candidate will be required to maintain customer satisfaction, achieve assigned service revenue goals, and coordinate with project managers and project coordinators to assemble and execute a successful cost-effective installation. Additionally, you will work cross functionally with multiple groups in the organization. This is a fun and fast-paced job. One thing is for sure, you will not be bored sitting behind a desk.
This is an exciting opportunity as a newly created role where you can come in and put your spin on this group. You will have the authority and responsibility to implement from the ground up your own procedures and processes for this division.

To be considered you must have:
- Bachelor’s degree or technical degree
- Experience managing field service technicians and technical staff- 5 years min.
- Strong technical background with understanding of Hydraulics, Pneumatics, electrical and electronics, technical drawings/schematics, and mechanical design
- Ability to multitask and experience implementing procedures and processes.
- Experience using Sales Force.
- Travel as needed.
- Candidates with experience working with food processing equipment, packaging equipment, robotics, food manufacturing industries are encouraged to apply!
