The Sales Specialist is responsible to lead growth and expansion of direct sales and profit margins within the Florida, Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Mississippi for Pall's consumables, capital goods, and systems. The position will establish professional relationships with key personnel in customer accounts and meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and margin dollars. The candidate must have strong filtration knowledge with and good experience/understanding of food and beverage process in such industry focused on spirits, beer, AFB, food, and dairy.
This position is part of the Field Sales team, and the candidate will work remotely based out of his/her home office in above mentioned states.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Develop/implement a customer account plan to achieve orders and revenue projections. Cultivate productive long-term relationships with customer senior management and decision-makers.
Expand customer base (networking, lead follow-up and conversion). Drive sales of new products and applications.
Build and maintain customer profile and SWOT including sales potential, operating structure, sites, contacts, and other relevant information.
Stay ahead of competitive activity at existing customers and actively direct field sales personnel to customer accounts as needed.
Maintain appropriate databases and Sales Funnel Management in CRM (such as Salesforce), RFQ alert, SOA's, Site/Plant list, Project/Quote Tracking.
Minimum requirements:
Bachelor's degree required
Minimum of three (3) years of demonstrated experience in a sales, business development, and/or account management role within a business-to-business environment.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
Willingness to travel over 50% of the time, primarily domestic travel. Will be conducting face-to-face selling with customers.
Preferred Requirements:
Bachelor's degree preferably in food science, food technology, or other related fields such as biology, chemistry, engineering, or business management.
Food and beverage industry proven experience.
Working knowledge of internal sales tool like Salesforce, SAP, etc.

The salary range for this role is $90,000 - $95,000 . This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
