About the Role
Our client, a global leader in laboratory equipment and services, is seeking a Technical Sales Representative with a focus on process instrumentation to drive sales growth across NJ, NY, and New England territories. The ideal candidate will be based in the Boston area, though other locations near major airports will be considered. This role involves direct sales of industry-leading analytical instruments to R&D laboratories, requiring a strategic and client-focused approach.
This position offers a highly competitive compensation package, including uncapped commissions, profit-sharing bonuses, and a $10,000 anniversary bonus every five years.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Growth: Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities for the client’s process instrumentation products.
- Customer Presentations: Present solutions to small and large audiences, including C-suite executives, production managers, and lab technicians.
- Account Management: Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and engagement.
- Territory Coverage: Manage travel within NJ, NY, and New England territories to effectively support accounts.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2+ years in capital equipment sales, with experience in analytical or process instrumentation preferred.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in natural sciences or engineering is highly preferred.
- Sales Skills: Strong written, oral, and presentation skills, with the ability to independently manage sales processes.
- Travel Requirement: Ability and willingness to travel frequently, with overnight stays up to 50-60%.
- Licenses: Valid driver’s license and passport are required.
Compensation Package
- Base Salary: $86,000 - $97,000 annually, based on experience.

- Uncapped commission structure with monthly payouts from dollar one and accelerated rates post-goal.
- Monthly car allowance and mileage reimbursement.
- Profit-sharing bonuses and a $10,000 anniversary bonus every five years.
