Job Overview:
The Technical Sales Manager will serve as the primary liaison between customers, Operations, and the Commercial team across all manufacturing plants. Responsibilities include validating technical offers, resolving manufacturing challenges, and supporting customer technical inquiries. Additionally, the role involves direct commercial accountability for a defined customer portfolio, ensuring the successful representation of manufacturing capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the principal link between customers, Operations, and the Commercial team to validate technical proposals and address manufacturing challenges.
Handle technical inquiries and interactions with customers.
Manage a defined customer base, overseeing sales and market share growth.
Market and sell a range of products for diverse applications including personal, vehicular, air, maritime, and stationary objects.
Collaborate closely with internal teams (Manufacturing, R&D, Customer Service) to manage awarded programs and ensure customer satisfaction.
Provide technical support and problem-solving assistance to various stakeholders.
Prepare quotes and proposals for assigned customers.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Materials, or Industrial Engineering.
5-7 years of manufacturing experience, preferably with ceramics.
Proficiency in material processing.
Proven ability to communicate technical information effectively with customers.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):
7 years of experience specifically with ceramics.
Additional Information:
This role involves frequent customer visits and participation in commercial team hosting activities.
