Lithos Energy designs and builds advanced lithium-ion battery packs from the ground up for use in high-performance automotive, marine and aerospace applications. Overview
The Technical Sales Manager will lead sales initiatives, overseeing the full sales cycle from prospecting to deal closure. This role demands expertise in battery technology at the pack level, strong negotiation skills for supply contracts, and the ability to develop and maintain client relationships to drive sales growth. You will work closely with sales and technical teams to match our product offerings with customer needs, effectively positioning our technology to exceed sales targets. You will use your technical knowledge to translate complex technical features into significant benefits for our customers. Additionally, you must be able to think on your feet, devising custom, technically feasible, and executable solutions that cater to unique client requirements.
Responsibilities
Qualify inbound leads by understanding customer's needs and timelines to determine alignment with Lithos product offerings and capabilities
Maintain client relationships by providing exceptional customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction
Strategize and implement targeted sales initiatives to expand market reach and penetrate new segments within the battery pack industry.
Minimum Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in engineering, or a related field
5+ years of experience in sales or business development in a technical industry
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and meet/exceed sales targets
Proficiency in using customer relationship management (CRM) software, as well as Microsoft Office and other sales-related software
Salary + commission with OTE up to 240K + equity.
