Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals.
- Present company services and solutions to potential clients while maintaining existing client relationships.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to understand product specifications and provide solutions that meet customer requirements.
- Provide technical and non-technical support and services to clients or other staff members regarding the use, operation, and maintenance of equipment.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations that explain products or services to customers and prospective customers.
- Confer with customers and engineers to assess equipment needs and to determine system requirements.
- Plan and modify product configurations to meet customer needs.
- Secure and renew orders and arrange delivery.
- Plan and modify products to meet customer needs.
- Help clients solve problems with installed equipment.
- Recommend improved materials or machinery to customers, showing how changes will lower costs or increase production.
- Help in researching and developing new products.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry, specifically with experience in turbine engine manufacturing.
- Proven track record in technical sales.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and the ability to explain them to non-technical stakeholders.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and concisely.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a knack for thinking on your feet.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
- Demonstrated proficiency in time management and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with customers and prospects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Strong business development skills, with a proven track record of closing deals.
- Familiarity with industry standards and developing market trends.
- Self-motivated, with a results-driven approach.
