Job Title: Technical Project Manager/Scrum Master

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Project Manager/Scrum Master to join our dynamic team. In this dual role, you will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams in delivering complex technical projects on time and within budget while also facilitating Agile ceremonies and promoting Agile practices across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Agile methodologies, strong technical background, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of technical projects from inception to completion, ensuring high quality and meeting customer expectations.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and team members.
- Develop detailed project plans, ensuring resource availability and allocation.
- Monitor and manage project progress, identifying issues and risks, and implementing proactive mitigation strategies.
- Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders, highlighting key milestones, risks, and concerns.
Scrum Master Responsibilities:
- Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure effective Agile practices within the team.
- Coach and mentor team members on Agile methodologies, supporting their continuous improvement and fostering a culture of collaboration.
- Remove obstacles that hinder team progress and ensure the team has the resources necessary to achieve their goals.
- Work closely with the Product Owner to ensure a well-defined backlog and the prioritization of tasks based on business value and team capacity.
- Help manage team dynamics, focusing on team-building and stakeholder collaboration.
Technical Engagement:
- Collaborate with developers, engineers, and other technical staff to understand project requirements and ensure they align with business objectives.
- Assist in technical troubleshooting and problem resolution as needed throughout the project lifecycle.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve project delivery practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or equivalent certification preferred.
- Minimum [X] years of experience in project management, preferably in a technical environment.
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach with a solid understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
