They are responsible for ensuring the appropriateness, quality, and timeliness of all aspects of one or more work efforts, including producing estimates, developing delivery plans and schedules, establishing measures and milestones, and tracking progress. They proactively manage risks, issues, scope, and human resources throughout the delivery life-cycle, often leading teams to ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and meet customer requirements. Typically holding a certification, they work with or on Agile teams, handling the largest and most complex assignments - all in service of making our members' health journeys easier .

What You Bring to Cambia:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum seven years progressive project management experience to include managing multiple, large scale or highly complex projects concurrently.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification ScrumMaster Certification (CSM) or PMI-ACP certification (PMI Agile Certified Practitioner) preferred
Skills and Attributes:
- Familiarity with the Project Management Institute (PMI) Guide and the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK), including understanding of the project lifecycle and Agile delivery methodologies.
- Demonstrated high-level technical understanding of business requirements as they pertain to Project Management principles, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage work efforts of varying sizes and complexities, from small and less complex to large and highly complex, with demonstrated success in meeting budget, timelines, and requirement targets.
- Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office suite of tools and automated project management software, as well as ITIL Framework Governance and guidelines (for infrastructure teams).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including writing, presenting, listening, and facilitating, with experience presenting to various stakeholders and management levels.
- Ability to identify problems, mediate issues, develop solutions, and implement a course of action, with demonstrated success in managing variances and critical resource allocation issues.
- Demonstrated functional competencies, including Budgeting, Change Management, Client Management, Methodology Approach, Mission/Vision/Strategy, Planning and Organization, and Risk Management.
- Strong leadership skills, including ability to influence without authority, with demonstrated success in leading multi-disciplinary, high-performance work teams and mentoring junior project managers.
- Ability to motivate teams to achieve defined deliverables, with demonstrated success in mentoring, training, and provid
ing oversight for other Technical Project Managers.
What You Will Do at Cambia:
- Facilitates and drives multiple global projects; accountable for integrating with dependent projects/processes, responsible for program/project scope, risks/issues management, schedule, and budget.
- Directs the project planning and portfolio management processes for assigned area or division. Balances business needs and value with the formal training and framework of project management while delivering the portfolio of projects.
- Partners closely with business and technical resources across the organization to ensure there is business and technical alignment of the strategic roadmap and projects.
- Reviews project mandates and directives to determine overall project approach and impact on administrative and IT systems. Ensures project tasks and objectives are compatible with administrative and system capabilities.
- Prepares and submits Service Requests for approval by appropriate corporate committees.
- Oversees work effort outcomes, including planning, task definition, scope management, resource allocation, risk mitigation, cost management, and stakeholder communication.
- Monitors and reports on work effort tasks, deliverables, costs, resources, issues, changes, risks, and quality assurance, using metrics to ensure work efforts are on target.
- Creates and maintains plans, schedules, budgets, and documentation in compliance with established standards, including quality, resource, communication, and risk plans.
- Manages and coordinates work effort teams, assigns individual responsibilities, identifies resources, provides guidance and direction, and mentors team members to ensure timely delivery within budgetary constraints.
- Develops and maintains the overall work effort documentation library, ensuring all documentation is established, maintained, and retained as necessary.
- Prepares and presents status reports, work effort plans, and other information to organizational leadership, teams, and client/customer groups.
- Contributes to the development of and ensures adherence to company-adopted project management methods, and remains current on new project management methodologies.

The expected hiring range for a Technical Project Manager III is $100,300 - $135,700 depending on skills, experience, education, and training; relevant licensure / certifications; and performance history. The bonus target for this position is 15%. The current full salary range for this role is $94,000 - $154,000.
The expected hiring range for a Technical Project Manager IV is $120,700 - $163,300 depending on skills, experience, education, and training; relevant licensure / certifications; and performance history. The bonus target for this position is 15%. The current full salary range for this role is $113,000 - $185,000.
