Job Description: Summary:
The main function of a technical project manager is to plan, direct, or coordinate activities in such fields as information systems, systems analysis, and computer programming.
Job Responsibilities:
" Review project plans to plan and coordinate project activity.
" Manage user help system, creating process documentation / knowledge bases to improve self-service.
" Proactively identify methods to automate the help system and drive automation / tooling requirements.
" Provide users with technical front-line support for infrastructure capacity issues.
Skills:
" Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
" Basic ability to work independently and manage one s time.
" Basic knowledge of computer hardware and software.
" Basic knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning and resource allocation.
" Basic knowledge of computer software, such as Visual Basic, Java, SQL, etc.
" Experience in owning front-line technical customer support system strongly preferred.
Education/Experience:
" Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required. MBA or other related advanced degree preferred.
" PMI or PMP certification preferred.
