Role-Specific Responsibilities:
- Plan and drive projects of significant complexity by independently planning, leading and executing on projects with other cross-functional teams globally.
- Ensure appropriate sponsorship and align stakeholders around initiative goals.
- Establish communications cadence to ensure appropriate program governance.
- Influence decision making & problem solving across projects and teams.
- Proactively manage program risks and develop mitigation strategies to meet the broader organization goals, milestones and objectives
- Ensure appropriate sponsorship and align stakeholders around initiative goals.
- Develop strong stakeholder relationships, maintaining effective communication channels.
- Prepare detailed analysis, plans, milestones, deliverables and overall status updates for projects.
- Proactively manage program risks, trade offs, critically evaluate and anticipate potential issues and implement appropriate mitigation strategies to meet broader organization goals, milestones, and objectives.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or Engineering with experience in Financial Transformation
- 5+ years of experience in project management, accounting, finance, and system implementation/design.
- Experience with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle.
- Proven track record of influencing decision making and problem solving with senior leadership.
- Experience thinking strategically and manage ambiguity, risk, and changing direction of projects and priorities.
- Experience working and influencing in a cross-functional global environment and with all levels of employees (entry-level to senior leadership)
- Experience designing and implementing business processes and systems based on business priorities.
- Experience delivering quality communications, including development of key messages.
- Strong knowledge of financial planning and analysis (FP&A)
- MBA, CPA or advanced degree in Finance, Business/Economics, or Engineering.
- Prosci change management, Six Sigma Black Belt, Design Thinking, Agile/Scrum, and/or PMP certification preferred.
- Experience as an FP&A manager.
- Experience as FP&A consultant, especially with experience planning, designing, providing feedback on product demo, testing, and migrating new 3rd party or in-house built planning and planning adjacent (such as procurement, general ledger, human capital management, and workforce management systems) enterprise systems.
- Moving budget tracking to org tool
- Data governance (understanding of finance date and hierarchy in reporting)
- Standardize usage (train others)
- Enhancements to enterprise planning management
Must-Have Skills
- Oracle , EPM, Hyperion - either/or
- Implementation of transformation projects in the finance space
- Project/change management experience
- EDM (enterprise data management
- Prior experience in FPNA role - Understanding of finance, budgeting, forecasting
- Accounting / tax treasury
