OVERVIEW
Association Analytics, the leading analytics solution provider in the association space is looking for a Technical Project Manager to join our delivery team. The Technical Project Manager is accountable for successfully and efficiently managing the deployment of our business intelligence platform - Acumen - for new clients. As a Technical Project Manager, you will work directly with clients to understand their unique business requirements, mapping them onto concrete technical tasks to be executed on in collaboration with our engineering teams. You will work with our data teams to deliver Acumen to a portfolio of clients, guiding them through the delivery process while assisting with hands-on deployment, configuration, and validation of deliverables.
This role can be in the Arlington, VA HQ 2 days per week or fully remote.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
Lead a dedicated delivery team in the implementation of our Business Intelligence offering for associations - Acumen.
Manage your team’s priorities across a portfolio of clients
Ensure project completeness by working directly with clients to validate that their unique business requirements have been satisfied
Partner with clients and internal stakeholders to deliver project milestones, communicate project status updates, and anticipate their needs, freeing up our engineers to solve the problems that they are best equipped to solve
Collaborate with product development and data teams to perform quality assurance testing as needed
Deploy and configure Power BI reports
Prepare and deliver product training sessions to clients
IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
Strong organizational, operational, and analytical skills
Experience with Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau
Experience in the field of business intelligence, analytics, and/or big data
Demonstrated ability to structure and transition complex problems to solutions
Excellent attention to detail, oral, written and presentation skills
Ability to see the big picture, innovate, and adapt to change
A combination of project management, process optimization, technical aptitude, and execution skills
The motivation to go above and beyond and succeed in a collaborative environment
REQUIREMENTS
5+ years of project management experience in the software or IT industries
Experience working with a variety of association platforms preferred Knowledge of project management and agile methodologies
Experience with JIRA preferred
Bachelor’s Degree; or equivalent work experience
Authorized to work for any U.S. employer
