About the Job
SMX is actively seeking a Technical Project Manager for a full-time, on-site position at Ft. Belvoir, focusing solely on cybersecurity deliverables within GISA. This role demands adaptability to rapidly changing environments and involves daily communication with customers. Responsibilities include gathering and documenting cybersecurity project requirements, ensuring timely and within-scope delivery. The ideal candidate possesses exceptional analytical and interpersonal skills, with expertise in managing cybersecurity projects within the GISA organization or Army framework, including eMASS experience. This is a full-time onsite position.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Translate customer's program goals, objectives, and strategies into technical plans and solutions.
- Assist the government in planning, implementing, and tracking the status of day-to-day activities and new initiatives
- Collaborate directly with government leads on various programs to ensure project success.
- Manage a team of cybersecurity professionals.
- Notifies customer when personnel leave the program.
- Lead quality control activities for all deliverables.
Required Skills, Experience & Education
- Active TS security clearance and eligible for SCI and NATO read-on prior to starting work.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or a similar certification in IT project management
- Master's degree in a discipline covered under Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) with 10 years' experience leading and managing IT based projects OR a Bachelor's degree in a discipline covered under Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) with 15 years' experience leading and managing IT based projects
Desired Skills, Experience
- 5 years' experience as an ISSO on Army Intel programs
- 5 years working as a project manager in cyber programs
- DoD 8140 / 8570.01-m requirements met and current
