Technical Project Manager Enterprise, Elastic - Emerald
New York, NY 10005
About the Job
Emerald is seeking a passionate and experienced Technical Project Manager to join our Elastic team in Denver, CO. Elastic is a B2B ecommerce and digital merchandising solution, serving the unique business needs of world-class manufacturers and retailers in the outdoor and action sports industries and beyond.
As a Technical Project Manager you will guide your clients through the end to end process to implement the Elastic Suite B2B eCommerce SaaS solution for their business. You will lead the project kick-off meeting, conduct discovery, and define requirements. You will coordinate with the technical development and integration teams, and you will be hands-on with the clients’ data, and all other client artifacts. You will manage the schedule, scope, and budget for the project, including your own time tracking of billable hours. You will also conduct testing and coordinate go-live, training, and knowledge transfer. You will collaborate with an extraordinary team of peers to share best practice, troubleshoot issues, drive process improvements, and celebrate wins.
As a Technical Project Manager, you are managing 6-8 clients in onboarding projects at once – each engagement lasting between two-six months. You have exemplary interpersonal and communication skills, and can thrive in high-pressure situations. Ideally you have strong negotiation skills that you’ve used to build and manage positive client relationships. You’re detail oriented, but you never lose sight of the big picture, so you are flexible when balancing competing priorities to ensure you are meeting the highest priority objectives first.
You have an understanding of standard data integration methods and data taxonomy. You might have experience with SQL, Databases, APIs, and flat file formats, or XML, JSON, and EDI formats. If you are not all that savvy with those, then you are at least an expert in MS Excel who is passionate about identifying and learning new technologies. You are a problem solver who loves to troubleshoot and test new solutions. You might have some past experience working with manufactures who sell consumer goods to retailers, in which case you might understand a typical seasonal “go to market” process for most of our clients. You might have experience in sales operations, inventory planning or management, or digital eCommerce roles. You might have experience managing other SaaS solution implementations, or with other ERP, PIM, MDM, or PLM software solutions.
This position can be performed from any of our US-based offices or remotely from anywhere within the US.
