Technical Project Manager

The Technical Project Manager is responsible for the successful planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects. This critical role requires exceptional communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders across all levels of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate high-level objectives into executable project plans.
• Collaboratively define project timelines, assign responsibilities, and track progress effectively.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with team members, vendors, and stakeholders across departments.
• Create clear, concise, and comprehensive project documentation accessible to all stakeholders.
• Prepare and deliver regular reports to executive leadership on project status, risks, costs, and recommendations.
• Collaborate closely with Software Engineering teams to determine the most effective project approaches.
• Demonstrate strong leadership, initiative, and the ability to thrive under pressure.
• Proactively identify and address challenges, utilizing adversity as motivation.
• Work independently and autonomously, consistently demonstrating initiative and a proactive approach to project management.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience as a Technical Project Manager within a data-driven or financial analysis environment.
• Possess relevant certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) and/or Project Management Professional (PMP).
• Strong understanding of complex data processing systems, such as Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA).
• Proficiency in Microsoft technologies, including C#.NET, WCF, WF, and SQL Server.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with all stakeholders.
• Proven experience working within Agile/Scrum frameworks.
• Relevant experience in the following areas:
  • Project management in the Financial Services industry
  • Database conversions
  • Implementation of Enterprise-level Content Management Systems/Publishing
  • Development and execution of Quality Assurance Plans
  • Creation of technical design specifications and system design documentation.

Education and/or Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
