What you’ll do:

The ideal candidate Technical Project Manager – Analytics with expertise in Tableau for the Automotive Software team, you will make a substantial impact through the following key contributions:

• Lead the successful execution of analytics projects within the automotive software sector, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and strategic objectives.

• Drive the development and integration of innovative analytics solutions that contribute directly to the enhancement of automotive software applications and overall business performance.

• Improve the automotive quality assurance software process to support a seamless Automotive Software Integration. Ensuring the integrity and trustworthiness of analytics outputs in a highly regulated automotive environment.

By combining strategic guidance, technical expertise, and effective communication, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of analytics within our organization.

The duties of the position will include but are not limited to:

• Supporting cross-functional project teams from development to release, ensuring that projects meet their objectives and are delivered on time and with adequate quality

• Regularly monitoring and reporting on progress to key stakeholders.

• Support the implementation of robust quality assurance processes to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and security of Tableau visualizations integrated into automotive software.

• Provide support to team members on Tableau best practices, fostering a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing.

• Co-Authoring process documents.

• Ensuring that software development and testing processes are carried out effectively, with a focus on sustainability, reliability, and high-quality standards

• Managing the software development lifecycle, from concept through implementation, deployment, and maintenance.

• Researching and evaluating new technologies, frameworks, and methodologies to improve the performance and efficiency of software development teams.

• Developing and maintaining relationships with internal and external teams and 3rd party contractors to support project implementation and deployment, where necessary.

• Perform special projects, lab/field testing, and other duties as necessary.

• Work closely with software development teams and other Technical Program Managers across the automotive organization to seamlessly integrate Tableau solutions into automotive software applications.

What you’ll need:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Automotive Engineering).

• SAFe 6 Agile certification.

• Proven 2 years’ experience as a Technical Project Manager in the automotive industry.

• Strong background in analytics, data visualization, and expertise in using Tableau.

• Understanding complex systems, as well as being able to analyze and interpret data.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in automotive software development and prior experience in a program management role within the software industry is a must.

• Significant experience in all stages of the Software Development Lifecycle.

• Experience with Agile methodology including Kanban.

• Ability to communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, senior management, and external vendors.

• Significant experience with Automotive Programs and associated timelines.

• Expertise with (Jira, Jama, change management tools, and test tools).

• Experience with testing methodologies, best practices, and continuous integration

• Knowledge of Automotive SPICE methodologies and or CMMi

• Experience in authoring process documents.

• Experience working in a matrix environment and managing activities across multiple teams in various locations not under direct line management control.

• Strong public speaking and presentation abilities.

• Adept interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with staff at all levels.

• Competence in operating as both part of a team and independently.

• Keen attention to detail and high organizational skills.

• A capacity for exuding professionalism on the phone and in-person interaction.

• Ability to tackle multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.

• A proactive and persistent mindset committed to seeing projects through to completion.
