Peraton has a great opportunity for a CDRL Manager (Contract Data Requirements List) in Chantilly, VA supporting an Intelligence Community (IC) customer. Skyfire is a Space Domain Awareness (SDA) Indications and Warning (I&W) system. Its purpose is to establish a repository of resident space objects (RSOs), find RSOs of interest, and provide data to ground operators. Located in Chantilly, VA, the Skyfire team uses: sensor modeling, and systems engineering expertise to deliver this world-class SDA I&W system. This position requires a minimum of an active TS clearance.
The person in this role will work with program office stakeholders, senior architects, and partners to ensure quality data inputs aligning with government and company standards. The ideal candidate is a motivated team player who understands how to effectively and independently drive timely and accurate support of the IMS, using MS Project. We are seeking a critical thinker with expertise in contract deliverable management and compliance.
What you'll do:
- Peraton is seeking a person with excellent verbal and written skills, who will have to communicate with all levels of management. This position requires strong organizational skills to coordinate and manage the iterative development and delivery of program Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs). It is imperative that all actions associated and completed for an on-time delivery of quality products.
- Coordinate and communicate CDRL development, status, and delivery with partner contracting company through routine and out of cycle meetings.
- Perform as needed quality control of supporting documentation and or CDRLs to ensure contractual requirements are met prior to customer delivery.
- Use programs such as Microsoft suite including SharePoint, JIRA and Confluence, and additional programs as required or web services to manage, track and deliver CDRLs to the Customer.
- Facilitate the CDRL change management process ensure any changes to the CDRL development, the actual products, or delivery method or timing is properly documented and coordinated and approved with Skyfire program management and the Skyfire contracting representative. Once changes are approved by the customer, ensure the new process is implemented.
- Review Customer Response Matrix (CRM) comments, coordinate responses to the appropriate Subject Matter Experts, and deliver or ensure delivery of updated products and or responses.
On-site work required for this position.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 8+ years of experience; OR Master's degree and 6+ years of experience. Additional four(4) relevant years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- 4+ years of management experience, preferably with a software or system engineering background.
- Experience processing, distributing, and maintaining controlled documentation using a document control system.
- Expertise identifying, collecting, and presenting metrics for data-based decision processes
- Must have experience in communicating with all levels of management.
- This position requires the candidate possess a minimum of TS/SCI clearance with ability to pass a polygraph within 30 days of employment - contract requires TS/SCI with poly. The candidate must maintain the clearance.
Desired Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Linux and scripting.
- Experience working with relevant data formats, and quality checking data.
- Experience with Government agency data sources.
- Experience working with The National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) / aerospace / defense industry.)
