Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
10 years of experience in program management.
7 years of experience in leadership roles with/without direct reports.
5 years of experience in fiber optic network design, deployment, and operations.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience with network automation and orchestration technologies.
Experience working with global carriers and vendors in the telecommunications industry.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $214,000-$305,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a global team of Technical Program Managers specialized in delivery of dark fiber and leased capacity from third-party network providers serving Google’s global and metro production networks.
Define and drive the global strategy for fiber capacity delivery, aligning with Google's overall network infrastructure roadmap and objectives.
Oversee a portfolio of hyperscale fiber deployment programs, encompassing long-haul dark fiber, metro fiber, and leased capacity solutions across multiple regions and continents.
Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including network engineers, carriers, vendors, and internal Google teams (e.g., upstream planning, acquisition, and downstream engineering).
Cultivate a high-performing and inclusive team environment, fostering collaboration, knowledge sharing, and professional growth.
