Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Geology, Biology, Meteorology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience in program management.
5 years of experience in environmental compliance or a related field, including experience with environmental standards and regulations.
3 years of experience in leadership role(s) with/without direct reports.
Experience with state and local regulatory standards, procedures, and permitting requirements, as well as construction and data center environmental, health and safety (EHS) standards.

Preferred qualifications:

5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
Experience in global project management (i.e., large, complex, technical).
Knowledge of Data Center Operations, Facilities Management, Engineering, or Construction.
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills with attention to detail in an ever-changing environment.

In this role, you will lead the Environmental Compliance (Pre-Operations) team within the Compliance Safety & Risk Management, Environmental Health & Safety (CSRM-EHS) organization. You will enable the people and technology that keep Google assets compliant with environmental regulations and set them up for long-term success.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

Develop and own cross-functional environmental compliance programs based on evolving GDC delivery strategies and needs.
Contribute to longer-term transformational programs, process improvement, and the operational excellence efforts that help make the Google magic happen.
Deliver on-time EHS support and associated deliverables with respect to environmental due diligence, campus planning, environmental permitting, and a smooth transition to the Operations team.
