Technical Program Manager, IT Sites and Services
*We are seeking a Technical Project Manager who could join our team of IT professionals in a contract role. This project manager will work cross-functionally with our IT and Places and Build organizations, working on projects for new site builds, site expansions, and tenant improvements. The TPM will be responsible for the IT scope of work at each site including cabling, networking, wifi, video conferencing, and user desk buildouts. The TPM will account for and track the inventory needed for each project and will work with IT Leads to procure as necessary. Success in this role will include understanding project scope and requirements, tracking deliverables and project milestones, identifying risks, and reporting progress.
We need a Technical Project Manager who can create material that documents processes and workflows as well as templates for standardized deployments of spaces.
Responsibilities:
Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring feasibility
Developing and implementing strategy for the program team, including developing a robust risk mitigation plan
Define and agree with stakeholders on business objectives and build strong relationships
Ability to manage multiple projects
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with developers, service owners, and leaders
Develop a detailed project plan to track
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
Ensure resource availability and allocation
Perform risk management to minimize project risks
Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in IT Infra project management (IT Site Programs/Projects)
This role requires expertise working with various teams within the site build teams, including construction design and architecture, low voltage and electrical vendors.
This role requires experience in IT site deployments such as WAN/LAN, MDF/IDF, video-conference, endpoint and wifi. This includes understanding rack elevations, the different types of equipment installed in racks and cabinets, including firewalls and switches, and UPS and PDU’s that power them.
