Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience as a Technical Program Manager in cloud computing emerging technologies or related technical fields.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in program management working in computer/hardware engineering, machine learning deployments or supply chain, networking, technology, or infrastructure deployments within data centers.
- Experience with Linux, hardware, networking servers, networking protocols, and data center networking.
- Experience in program management working in computer/hardware engineering, machine learning deployments or supply chain, networking, technology, or infrastructure deployments within data centers.
- Experience with Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) process and interactions with functional engineering teams.
- Collaborative, detail-oriented, and execution-focused, including excellent written and verbal communication skills.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering expertise. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders. You're equally at home explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers.Using your technical and leadership expertise, you run Engineering-focused projects that are well-defined under supervision.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Lead or participate in NPI hardware projects, create and manage timelines, mitigate risks, track progress, and report updates. Analyze new hardware platform designs and provide feedback to the development team.
- Design, document, implement health and safety hardware testing/acceptance process (end-to-end EHS risks). Develop and implement health and safety hardware test requirements, interpret requirements, and conduct Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis, and EHS Job Risk/Hazard Analysis.
- Utilizing the hierarchy of controls, collaborate and influence stakeholders on tooling and other administrative controls if engineering solutions are not feasible.
- Work with hardware design engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on health and safety requirements, risks, and timelines.
- Support the successful launch of new hardware products into manufacturing and general entry. Troubleshoot and resolve EHS issues, analyze data, and propose improvements.
