Job Description:

Drawing on more than 45 years of experience, HPE develops the world's most advanced supercomputers, pushing the boundaries of performance, efficiency, and scalability. With the convergence of high-performance computing (HPC) and artificial intelligence (AI), we are at the forefront of providing cutting-edge products and solutions to our customers.

AI is a fast-growing business (organically and inorganically) within the HPC & AI global business unit, where we are building a portfolio of products and solutions for our customers across the AI/ML workflow. We are seeking a Technical Program Manager (TPM) to partner with the Product, Engineering and Go-To-Market teams on technical workstreams to build and expand our 'AI at Scale' platform.

A successful candidate will leverage their project structuring skills and technical knowledge to influence and drive cross-team projects and roadmaps. They will provide hands-on project management, cross-functional coordination, and inter/intra team communication to ensure stakeholders are well-informed and engineering deliverables are executed efficiently. The ability to translate high-level roadmap items into engineering tasks and manage their follow through is a key aspect of this role, in addition to having sufficient technical depth to be an active participant in project planning discussions.

What You'll Do

Manage internal processes for product and engineering, including but not limited to customer intake, feature prioritization, bug management. You will be the master of all procedures for ML data, training, and deployment software.

Manage data analytics for ML software (Core Services) team.

Manage product and project telemetry.

Work with program managers to ensure smooth execution and team operation.

Manage business intelligence analysis and strategic advice by business intelligence analysis with data systems, data tools, visualization tools.

Summarize financial, engineering, and business data reports for review by executives and stakeholders.

What We're Looking For

A proven record of successfully managing complicated, cross-functional technical projects on deadline with high customer and executive visibility.

Experience working with popular engineering development methodologies and development tools.

Multitasker able to execute multiple work-streams simultaneously. A proven record of successfully managing and architecting data systems.

Proficiency in data analytics systems and tools.

Ability to collect data, solve ambiguously defined problems with analytical tools.

Capable of presenting complex information targeted at the right level for both internal and external audiences.

Comfortable having technical discussions with engineering teams and preparing technical status updates to customers and partnering organizations.

Extremely organized and paying great attention to details.

Excellent ability to analyze data and think systematically.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent work experience.

Ways To Stand Out From The Crowd

Knowledge of HPC infrastructure or large-scale distributed systems.

Knowledge of large-scale Analytics, Machine Learning or Deep Learning platforms.

Knowledge of machine learning frameworks, compilers and optimization techniques and workflows.

Proven record in tech consultation companies.

Proven record in leading role in tech companies.

The expected salary/wage range for a U.S. -based hire filling this position is provided below. If this is a sales role, then the listed salary range reflects combined base salary and target-level sales compensation pay. If this is a non-sales role, then the listed salary range reflects base salary only. Variable incentives may also be offered. USD Annual Salary: $98,000.00 - $225,500.00
