Location: Brentwood, TN 37027 (Hybrid - 2 days/week onsite)
Duration: Contract to Hire
Compensation: $65-$75/hr

Skillset / Experience:
This position is for a Technical Product Owner to support Data Integration Engineering teams. This role will focus on both API and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) development, driving the product vision, strategy, and execution for data integration solutions. This person will possess a strong technical background, a deep understanding of data integration processes, and the ability to effectively manage and prioritize product requirements in a fast-paced environment. This position will partner with technical, functional, and business teams to deliver data for a $15B retail operation with a $1B digital environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Define and articulate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for data integration solutions, including API and ETL development.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and prioritize requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
- Translate business needs into clear and actionable product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Work closely with Data Integration Engineering teams to ensure understanding and implementation of requirements.
- Ensure that technical specifications and designs meet the product requirements and adhere to best practices and standards.
- Support the creation of project plans, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
- Monitor progress, manage risks, and resolve issues to ensure timely and successful delivery of products.
- Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding data integration products.
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders and engineering teams, ensuring transparency and alignment throughout the development process.
- Oversee the testing and validation of data integration solutions to ensure they meet the specified requirements and quality standards.
- Collaborate with QA teams to develop test plans and address any issues identified during testing.
- Monitor and analyze product performance, gathering feedback from users and stakeholders to drive continuous improvement.
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data integration and product management.
- Experience: A successful candidate must have the following qualification
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a product owner or technical analyst, with a focus on data integration, API development, and ETL processes.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex technical products.
- Strong understanding of data integration technologies, including ETL processes, APIs, and data transformation tools.
- Familiarity with data integration platforms and tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend).
- Knowledge of data warehousing, data lakes, and big data technologies is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Proven leadership and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Experience working in agile development environments and familiarity with agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
- Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Computer Systems Design, or related field will be considered. Any suitable combination of education and experience will be considered.
