What we are looking for:
The Technical Program Manager will report to the Chief Product Officer and will be responsible for ensuring successful delivery of scientific research projects to meet critical product and company goals. As part of this, they will work as the right hand with our Chief Researcher to craft and maintain a research roadmap that aligns with the product vision and to manage stakeholders across Research Science, Applied Science, Data Engineering, Product Management, and Product Engineering teams located in t pool he US and UK. This leader must be a forward-thinking and solutions-oriented leader and will manage project delivery within 3D Vision, Neural Rendering Compositing, Audio, and Audio Driven Facial Animation. They will serve as a key advocate for end users of Flawless products to understand and articulate the rationale behind strategic research projects, how they will benefit the customer, and how they will be integrated within the product. They will work across teams to identify, track, and manage dependencies towards successful delivery. They will establish processes and artifacts for communicating progress, ensuring alignment across teams, and for surfacing blockers or challenges that require resolution. Strong leadership, communication, and experience in managing multiple projects on a global scale is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Roadmap Planning: Work with Chief Researcher to define the research teams's roadmap, prioritize projects and work with research team to ensure the delivery
- Stakeholder management: Collaborate with key stakeholders, such as executives, research scientists, internal post production teams, product and engineering to align research efforts and communicate progress
- Delivery management: Identify dependencies across teams.
- Establish processes for tracking and managing delivery of projects and dependencies to ensure successful delivery cross-team initiatives
- Customer focus: Advocate for the customer and ensure their needs are understood and addressed
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of Technical Program or Product Management experience working in a global environment
- 3-5 years working with Applied Science and Research Science teams to deliver AI-driven products and capabilities
- Ability to thrive in matrixed organization and function effectively in a fast-paced environment, providing strong leadership skills and handling multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to define metrics, KPIs, and project roadmaps
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, verbal, written and presentation communication and interpersonal skills.
- A cross-functional influencer with the ability to build strong relationships
Preferred Qualifications
- A broad understanding of the tools and platforms used in VFX and film post-production workflows
- Experience supporting teams that have published work in top-tier CV and Graphics conferences e.g. ICCV, CVPR, Siggraph, NeurIPS.
- Familiarity with Transformer, CNN, GAN, Diffusion model and NerFs technologies.
