Minneapolis Glass in Brooklyn Park, MN is looking to hire a full-time Technical Order Entry Specialist to ensure the accurate and timely entry of glass fabrication orders into the manufacturing system. This position earns a competitive salary based on experience. If you have related glass sales experience, you could earn up to $60,000+year and if you have some related order entry experience in manufacturing and need training on products and our systems, you earn at least $45,000/year. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF PURCHASE ORDER ENTRY

As a Technical Order Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for accurately inputting customer's glass orders into our manufacturing ERP system (A&W) and ensuring all specifications align with production capabilities. You will review purchase orders for accuracy and completeness and verify order details, such as product specifications, quantities, lead times, and any special requirements. You will work closely with production and capacity planning to prioritize orders based on customer deadlines and production schedules.

You will be the technical expert for any inquiriesrelated to glass order specifications, modifications or complaints (process Returned Goods Authorizations). You will troubleshoot and resolve issues with A&W system and recommending process improvements for precision and efficiency of order entry. You will gain in-depth knowledge of the company's product offerings and manufacturing capabilities.

You "feed the beast" and ensure orders are entered right for production to execute well! Your precision will ensure our customer gets exactly what they ordered with great satisfaction.

QUALIFICATIONS

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of order entry / technical data entry experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft suite, especially Excel, and with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or related manufacturing software.
• Knowledge of technical terminology related to production specifications and inventory management. Adept at blueprint reading and interpreting drawings.
• Knowledge of glass products and glass fabrication process strongly preferred.

WORK SCHEDULE

This technical order entry position is full-time with a schedule of 8 AM - 4:30 PM Monday through Friday.
