Allocore seeks a Technical Operations Analyst who plays a critical role in maintaining the smooth operation of our lending software solution. As the first line of defense, you will triage and resolve production issues, ensuring consistent system performance. This role demands technical proficiency, collaboration across multiple teams, and a commitment to continuous improvements.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a Level 1 support team member, managing and escalating incoming issues.
- Monitor dashboards to track and address new issues.
- Perform initial diagnosis for login issues, workflow errors, and data discrepancies.
- Resolve recurring issues using Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Leverage tools like Jira, Sentry, and Datadog to track issues, analyze logs, and monitor performance.
- Dive into log files to identify potential issues and collaborate with other teams for deeper troubleshooting.
- Work with engineering, product, and customer support teams to resolve issues promptly.
- Escalate unresolved or critical issues to Level 2 or development teams with clear documentation and necessary artifacts.
- Be available for rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Assist users with basic troubleshooting steps for application or system issues.
- Guide users through standard processes and escalate non-standard requests.
- Provide updates, resolutions, timelines, and action items to internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to data privacy guidelines, particularly concerning Personally Identifiable Information (PII).
- Identify recurring issues and recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Participate in post-incident reviews and root cause analysis.
- Develop Knowledge Base Articles (KBAs) and SOPs to document recurring processes.
Requirements/Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, technology, or a related field, MBA preferred.
- At least 3 years of professional experience demonstrating a solid record of strong performance and growing responsibilities.
- Basic understanding of databases and SQL for simple queries.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools like Sentry, and Datadog.
- Knowledge of lending systems or similar industry processes is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to maintain flexibility in a quick paced environment.
- Strong prioritization and organization skills.
- Local to the DC area, able to commute to offices in VA, MD, DC, and PA.
- Ability to obtain and maintain government clearance (applicants must be U.S. citizens).
- Previous experience in the fintech industry, with an understanding of financial systems and
regulations. - Previous experience in Federal and/or Public Sector grants and loans.
- Previous experience with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
