Overview
• Strong knowledge in Mainframe and PL/SQL
• Serve as the subject matter expert for OSS platforms.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills for team collaboration and mentoring
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and problem resolution for complex OSS-related issues.
• Investigate and analyse intricate technical problems related to OSS systems, identifying root causes, and providing comprehensive solutions.
• Implement solutions to the identified issues by adhering the change management process.
• Gather requirements for minor enhancements.
• Collaborate with L1 and L2 support, vendors, and other teams to resolve escalated issues promptly.
• Implement improvements, automation, and best practices to enhance OSS system functionality.
• Lead or participate in planning and executing complex OSS system upgrades, patches, and enhancements.
• Proficiency in advanced OSS tools, software, and platforms.
• Good understanding of the CI/CD pipeline process for deployment.
• Good understand of automation tools to streamline tasks, reduce manual intervention, and improve operational efficiency.
• Good understanding of TIRKS system configurations, including customizations, integrations with other systems, and fine-tuning settings to meet specific business requirements.
• Gather requirements for minor enhancements.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues related to TIRKS.
• Evaluate new features and functionality to improve system performance.
• Create and maintain documentation related to TIRKS system configurations and processes.
• Optimize the database structure and queries used by TIRKS to maintain optimal performance and data retrieval efficiency.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Provide L3 technical support for the OSS systems, including order management, Provisioning, Inventory management etc.
• Able to troubleshoot issues and resolve incidents to minimize service disruptions.
• Good experience in a similar role with hands-on OSS support in the telecommunications industry.
• Assist in planning and executing OSS system upgrades, patches, and enhancements.
• Able to Configure and customize TIRKS according to the organization's specific needs.
