I am looking for a candidate with experience as Technical Lead.

Position Title: Technical Lead 

Location: DMV Area (Washington, DC, Maryland, Virginia) 
 

Overview: 
We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead with a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience to oversee the delivery of technical solutions that meet functional and non-functional requirements for federal projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and proven leadership in delivering solutions within a federal environment, with preference for candidates experienced in the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). 

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the design, development, and implementation of technical solutions to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Act as the primary technical authority, guiding the team in aligning solutions with stakeholder expectations.
• Collaborate with program and product management leads to ensure seamless integration of technical solutions.
• Establish and enforce best practices in software development, system architecture, and technical documentation.
• Address and resolve technical challenges promptly to ensure project continuity and success.
• Lead technical reviews, including validation of compliance with federal standards and industry benchmarks.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 12 years of relevant experience in technical leadership roles, delivering high-quality solutions in complex environments.
• Experience working within DHS or similar federal agencies is highly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

• Expertise in systems engineering, software development, or technical architecture.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Proficiency in agile and federally governed delivery methodologies.
• Exceptional communication and team leadership skills.

Location: Must be local to the DMV area to facilitate effective collaboration with stakeholders.
