The technical event producer will work with the CHG events team to plan, produce, and execute meetings, events, and webinars through the setup and operation of audio-visual equipment. You will have the opportunity to use your creativity and technical skills while working on a variety of events with company executives and event stakeholders to create fun, engaging, and memorable live and hybrid event experiences for CHG. This position will be based out of our Midvale, UT, headquarters office.
Responsibilities:
- Planning and executing in-person, virtual, and hybrid meetings to deliver engaging experiences
- Set up and operation of audio and visual equipment
- Troubleshooting and repairing audio and visual equipment
- Troubleshooting presentation add-ins
- Coaching speakers on presentation etiquette
- Managing and maintaining equipment inventory
- Collaborating with stakeholders on set design, scheduling, project management, and run of show
- Evaluating and recommending emerging technology
Qualifications:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills
- Experience operating audio-visual equipment including, but not limited to, projectors, monitors, video switchers, audio mixers, microphones, PA systems, and lighting consoles
- Experience in developing show flows and rehearsal schedules
- Experience collaborating with presenters and stakeholders to understand their audio and visual needs
- Experience capturing and broadcasting video and audio in-person or virtually and providing support or coaching to virtual presenters
- Experience working with clients and handling fast-paced, changing environments
- Proficient in Zoom
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
- Proficient in OBS, vMix, or other live streaming service
- Ability to travel quarterly to outer CHG offices
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Preferred:
- Experience with video production and editing
- Experience with event management platforms, preferably Cvent
We believe in fair compensation for all of our people, which is why our pay structure takes into account the cost of labor across U.S. geographic markets. For this position, we offer a pay range of $51,700 -- $140,300 annually, with pay varying depending on work location and job-related factors such as knowledge, position level and experience. During the hiring process, your recruiter can provide more information about the specific salary range for the job location.
CHG Healthcare offers starting salaries for sales positions in the form of total target compensation (TTC = base + commission + bonus), which includes base pay, commission, and bonuses. Sales positions receive short-term incentives through commission plans and bonuses. On the other hand, non-sales positions have starting salaries that consist of a base salary and short-term incentives through various bonus plans, which are paid out monthly, quarterly, or annually.
