Technical Contract Administrator - Geotechnical Services - Base Salary to 70k/year - Germantown, MD

• Founded over 20 years ago, our client in the Geotechnical Services space provides solutions for the Construction, Marine, Mining, and Demolition industries. They are currently experiencing solid growth and have very few competitors in their niche space.
• They are currently looking for a Technical Contract Administrator who will perform a blend of Administrative and Technical Project duties.

Responsibilities:

• Qualify the scope of work for projects and kick off projects on the web platform and company network, ensuring all initial data and documentation are correctly inputted and set up.
• Produce information by transcribing, formatting, inputting, proofreading, editing, retrieving, copying and transmitting text, data, and graphics.
• Handle correspondence with industry partners, clients, and other external stakeholders.
• Work as a liaison between Field Technicians and Project Managers
• Answer phones, maintain office equipment, and implement a document review process for preparation and submission of deliverables to Project Managers and Clients.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (minimum); (Engineering, Geology, Geotechnical Engineering or a related technical field a major plus)
• Proficient in Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat
• Experience with document management systems like SharePoint
• Strong writing, proofreading, and editing skills
• Understanding of reading blueprints and drawing (plus)
• Experience with importing data via Google Earth (plus)
• Familiarity with contract and subcontract documents, conditions and terms (plus)

Compensation:

• Base salary in the 60k - 70k/year range
