Technical Consultant at Enterprise Iron
About the Job
The Consultant will assist with technology and business projects at public pension organizations. Specifically, the Consultant will participate in legacy data analysis and business requirements gathering sessions; and will also be responsible for developing profiling, conversion, and reconciliation scripts. The Consultant will work closely with client subject matter experts to gather business rule requirements, convert business rules to executable SQL scripts to identify data that does not match the business rules, report on invalid data, convert acceptable data to a staging database, and perform data reconciliation. He/she will implement a cyclical profiling, conversion, and reconciliation process.
Basic Requirements - minimum of 3 years:
• Business requirements gathering and documentation
• Data mapping and transformation documentation
• SQL
• Extensive data analysis and discovery using SQL
• Experience with System Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
• Excellent writing, communication, and analytical skills
• Ability to rapidly learn software tools as required
• Experience with Visio
• Present professionally and be client-facing
• Available to travel up to 50%
Preferred Requirements:
• Experience with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
• Experience with data modeling tools (ERStudio, Toad, Erwin)
• Experience in public pension funds/benefits

Salary
55 - 65 /hour
