Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Consultant that will be based out of Louisville, KY with routine travel to different locations across the US. The position will join one of our Dedicated Teams that works directly with a major international package delivery company. This unique position also provides strategic leadership consulting to their rapidly growing subsidiary that focuses on warehousing, picking, packing, and shipping for various healthcare, high tech and retail clients.
The candidate must have a strong working knowledge of health and safety practices, keen sense to identify and mitigate risk and working knowledge of Industrial Hygiene principles. The ideal candidate will possess strong relationship-building skills, service management expertise, acute customer focus, and a passion for quality execution.
Please Note: This position is eligible to be hired at different levels depending on experience.
Responsibilities:

Relationship Building: Ability to form and sustain relationships at all levels of customer organization and become a trusted influencer to impact business objectives.
Account Service: Work with management and employees to provide comprehensive, highly sophisticated consulting and Industrial Hygiene services to assists in meeting customer key performance indicators. Including a deep understanding of customer operations and industry exposures in order to develop strategies to mitigate risk.
Continuous Improvement: Having a growth mindset that allows for continuous improvement of work product and service delivery in a collaborative way that provides consistent innovation.
Industrial Hygiene: Understands strategies and methodologies to control risk via hierarchy of controls, conducts extensive research and data collection to identify source of risk, loss and costs and evaluates occupational disease exposures with the ability to articulate controls.
Program Development: Research, develop and implement safety, health, industrial hygiene programs

Preferred Qualifications:
- Required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent with Industrial Hygiene experience preferred.
- Required: Minimum of 5 years of directly related consulting experience.
- Required: Proven ability in advance level research, evaluation and analysis functions.
- Required: Proven ability to consult with, form relationships and influence all levels of an organization.
- Required: Successful demonstration of technical skills in areas of risk assessment, risk analysis, solutions management,progress measurement and Industrial Hygiene concepts.
- Preferred: Master’s degree, designation(s)/certification(s): CSP, ARM, CRM, CPCU, CIH, CPE, CFPS, CIH, PE.
- Bachelor’s degree with coursework in math, engineering or related areas (or equivalent) and at least 5 years of directly related consulting experience in loss prevention or progressive safety/heath field.
- Candidates are typically working towards (or obtained) an advanced degree and/or professional certification in one or more of the following areas: CSP, ARM, CRM, CPCU, CIH, or CPE.
- Advanced knowledge, skills and experience in a specialized field, service planning and delivery, risk assessment, risk analysis, solutions management and progress measurement.
- Fully effective interpersonal, writing and other communication skills required to develop and maintain relationships with customers, peers, and industry contacts.
- Demonstrated ability to retrieve and enter information using various proprietary software applications and create/modify documents and complex spreadsheets using Microsoft Office suite.
- Position requires regular travel.
