As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a Technical Co-Founder who can continue to lead the

charge in building the technology that will power our platform. This is an equity-based

opportunity to join a passionate and dynamic team as we disrupt the travel industry and

transform how couples plan their dream honeymoons.

Position Overview

:

As the Technical Co-Founder, you will play a key role in shaping the technological foundation of

Hitched. Working closely with the CEO and the leadership team, you will define the technology

strategy, lead the architecture of our platform, and guide the development of our AI-driven

solutions. This is an equity-based role, where you will have the chance to make a direct impact

on the product, the company’s growth, and the future of honeymoon planning.

Key Responsibilities:

● Technology Leadership Strategy:

○ Define and execute the technology strategy for Hitched, ensuring alignment with

business objectives and product goals.

○ Lead the architecture and development of our platform, leveraging Generative AI

(e.g., Google Gemini, GPT) to build a personalized, seamless experience for

users.

○ Make strategic infrastructure decisions, ensuring the platform is scalable, secure,

and resilient while offering an exceptional user experience.

○ Drive the end-to-end technical delivery of the product, including design,

development, testing, and deployment.

○ Collaborate with the leadership team to set clear technical priorities, KPIs, and

goals, balancing short-term needs with long-term scalability.

○ Develop and implement disaster recovery plans, IT security protocols, and data

governance policies to ensure business continuity and user data protection.

● Team IT Management:

○ Build, mentor, and grow the technical team, providing guidance and leadership in

all aspects of development and operational efficiency.

○ Allocate IT resources effectively to meet project deadlines while maintaining

flexibility for future scaling.

○ Foster a culture of collaboration across product, marketing, and business teams,

ensuring alignment between technology and business goals.

○ Manage relationships with external vendors and strategic technology partners to

integrate third-party services and enhance platform offerings.

● Financial Oversight:

○ Develop and manage the annual and quarterly IT budgets, ensuring the effective

allocation of resources to support both product development and operational

needs.

○ Balance immediate technical requirements with the company’s long-term growth

strategy, providing transparency and oversight to the leadership team.

● Security, Governance Compliance:

○ Oversee data security, management, and governance practices to ensure

compliance with industry standards and regulations.

○ Implement IT risk management practices to safeguard sensitive user data and

ensure the security of transactions and personal information.

● Strategic Planning Execution:

○ Create detailed strategic plans for the development, deployment, and evaluation

of technical, web, and mobile services.

○ Define timelines for major milestones, ensuring timely execution of key product

features and technical enhancements.

○ Monitor and report on technical progress, adjusting strategy and tactics as

necessary to meet evolving business and product needs.

Required Skills Experience:

● Experience with Generative AI: Expertise in developing and deploying Generative AI

technologies, particularly with platforms like Google Gemini, GPT, and other cutting-edge

AI tools.

● Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of AI/ML frameworks (Python, TensorFlow,

PyTorch), cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure), and web/mobile development

technologies.

● Leadership Experience: Prior experience in a leadership role (Co-founder or CTO) in a

high-growth, startup environment, with a track record of managing teams and driving

technical innovation.

● Product Infrastructure Strategy: Ability to define and implement a technology

strategy that supports product innovation and scalability, with a focus on seamless user

experiences.

● Budget Resource Management: Experience managing technology budgets,

prioritizing resources, and ensuring cost-effective use of IT investments.

● Security Compliance: Knowledge of data security, privacy regulations, and best

practices for handling sensitive user information, especially in the context of e-commerce

and travel.

● Cross-functional Collaboration: Excellent communication skills with the ability to

collaborate across functions, including product, marketing, and business teams, ensuring

alignment between technical solutions and business goals.
