Responsibilities:
- Developing innovative bakery products using your knowledge of formulation activities and bakery blend creation.
- Leading New Product Development (NPD) projects from concept to commercialization, ensuring all products meet our high-quality standards.
- Creating and maintaining detailed data sheets, recipes, and formulas for all bakery goods.
- Conducting test baking and sensory analysis to evaluate the quality, taste, texture, and appearance of our products.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launch and process development.
- Continually researching and staying up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in the bakery and manufacturing industry.
- Identifying and troubleshooting issues in the baking process and proposing effective solutions.
- Ensuring all activities are compliant with food safety and sanitation regulations.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the bakery or food manufacturing industry.
- Proven experience in formulation activities, bakery blend creation, and New Product Development (NPD).
- Strong knowledge and understanding of baking science and processes.
- Experience in creating and maintaining detailed data sheets, recipes, and formulas.
- Proficiency in test baking and conducting sensory analysis.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues in the baking process.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A degree in Food Science or a related field is preferred.
- Must be passionate about baking and creating innovative bakery products.
