New Moon Production is a remote working Hamburg based studio, bringing new and exciting games to the market. Since its founding in 2016, it has released multiple games on different platforms, including the much beloved Big Farm: Mobile Harvest, enjoyed by a quarter of a million players daily.

Our Creative team is looking for a skilled Technical Artist with experience in Unity Engine to kick ass making creative ideas reality! You will bridge the gap between art and technology, ensuring that visual elements are integrated seamlessly into our projects. Your Tasks
- Collaborate with artists and developers to create and implement art assets within the Unity Engine.
- Develop and maintain shaders, materials, and visual effects to enhance the visual quality of our projects.
- Optimize assets for performance without compromising visual fidelity.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to art assets and engine integration.
- Provide guidance and support to the art team on technical best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in game development and art production.
Your Backstory
Proven experience as a Technical Artist with experience in the Unity Engine, Universal Render Pipeline.
Previous experience in mobile game development or real-time applications.
Strong knowledge of 3D modeling, texturing, and shading techniques.
Proficiency in software such as Maya, Blender, Substance Painter, or equivalent.
Understanding of rendering techniques, performance optimization, and asset management for mobile platforms.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Additional skills to impress us:
Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, MEL) for automation and tool development.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git, Perforce).
A portfolio showcasing relevant work and technical artistry skills.
