Technical Architect - NodeJS Backend

GavinHeath is partnering with a client in Centennial, CO looking to add a Technical Architect (Staff) Engineer to their team. The role is a Contract to Hire position. Our client is a health and behavioral-healthcare-focused community interoperability platform that provides an extremely intuitive, robust data collection platform for building community networks, consent management, and tracking client outcomes across the care continuum. The software built upon our platform is used for service management, data collection, analytics, predictive analysis, automated processes and networking, and AI-driven community navigation.

The Technical Architect position is a key role with the main purpose of working with the CTO and Technical Product Manager to deliver on complex technical solutions while providing technical guidance for the development team. This position reports directly to the CTO.

Responsibilities :
The ideal candidate would become a part of our Technical Leadership team that is focused onproviding solutions for community problems across many industry sectors.

• Work with the Product Team translating customer requirements into technical tasks
• Ensure technical tasks are completed in a timely manner and roadblocks are removed
• Participate in architecture discussions for designing new solutions and offerings for the technical platform
• Develop NodeJS microservices on our client's platform to deliver customer solutions, expect 30-50% of your time developing
• Design and implement RESTful APIs
• Develop new components and modules to meet functionality requirements
• Implement data interfaces to external systems
• Assist in troubleshooting final customer solutions

Qualifications :

• BS/BA with a preference for computer science or game development
• Experience in owning and contributing to initiatives with cross-functional stakeholders
• Analytical and quantitative skills; experience using data and metrics to drive
• assumptions and reinforce business cases
• Ability to work effectively with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• 5+ years professional NodeJS Server-Side Development experience
• 3+ years professional PostgreSQL or similar experience
• 5+ years of object-oriented programming
• SQL: Experience building data models and writing complex SQL queries
• Experience testing backend code
