- Drive the implementation efforts
- Design and Architect the enhancements
- Support and debug implemented solution and interfaces
- Document and manage technical requirements
- Contribute to the functional and technical design, prototyping, and process design stages of implementations (including scenario design, flow mapping).
- Support testing and user training.
Key Tasks
- Collaboration with EDI analysts/developers and Oracle ERP analysts/developers for developing custom solutions as business continues to grow globally.
- Design bolt-on solutions that would work well with the delivered Oracle modules and ensure ease of future upgrades through requirements analysis and in-depth Oracle design reverse engineering.
- Requirements analysis, estimating level of effort, designing solutions, and managing system resources throughout the system development life cycle.
- Development of middle and back end integrations.
- Designs, enhances and develops single and multi-system applications.
- SQL,and/or PL/SQL as part of a structured Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process.
- Provides solutions for complex software problems for existing applications.
- Works collaboratively and professionally with IT and Business team to develop and implement unit and system testing processes for single or multi system projects.
- Monitor inbound EDI communications, troubleshoot EDI failures from customers and/ or requests by business partners in order to resubmit EDI data timely.
- Understand typical EDI guidelines and interpret EDI specifications e.g., 810, 820, 850, 855, 856, 864, 997, XML etc.
- Coordinate with customers/ 3PL to fill out EDI Questionnaire and interpret their requirements.
- Collaborate with Functional and Business Team to deliver customers EDI requirements, ensuring proper setup of EDI Transactions with Customer Specifics.
- Have hands on EDI mapping and cross reference experience
- Functional professional with 2+ ERP implementations (e.g., Oracle ERP Cloud, Oracle R12) and a senior team member or team lead on at least 1 full cycle implementation.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience implementing EDI solutions for customers and 3PL partners.
- Demonstrated experience in the definition of systems strategy, gathering and documenting business requirements, leading fit-gap analysis, as-is and to- be business process designs, conference room pilots (CRPs) functional configuration, testing, user training.
- Must have experience of monitoring inbound/ outbound EDI communications, troubleshooting EDI failures from customers and/or requests by business partners in order to resubmit EDI data timely.
- Working knowledge of PL/SQL. Ability to query/retrieve data and perform analytics to debug data issues, inconsistencies between EDI Transactions and Database transactions.
- Designing EDI solutions in Oracle eBS/ Oracle Cloud ERP for customers and 3PL partners.
- Demonstrated proficiency writing software in developmental languages such as Java, Unix Shell scripting, PERL, SQL & Oracle PL/SQL, XML, JSP and understand JBoss, web services and SOA.
- Keen ability to conceptualize, develop and deliver Information Technology Solutions.
- Thorough knowledge of B2B technologies.
- Demonstrated skills in data modeling, and writing and optimizing SQL queries on variety of DBMS' like Oracle and My SQL Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments.
- Hands-on experience in configuring EDI and ERP packages.
- BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering or similar degree.
