Technical Analyst II - Supply Chain - Sprouts Farmers Market

Please note this position will be based in our Glendale, AZ Distribution Center.The Technical Analyst II position will play an important part of managing Sprouts’ product domains focusing on the end-to-end software lifecycle. This will include being part of the software selection, requirements gathering and definition, configurations, implementation, and ongoing support processes. The candidate for this position will have prior experience interacting with stakeholders, vendors, and developers to ensure the complete collection, documentation, and implementation of requirements. This role will also require strong leadership, interpersonal communication, and collaboration skills in addition to the ability to lead and guide teams through the project lifecycle with minimal supervisory direction.

Essential Job Functions

• Leads and manages small to medium sized projects with little to no supervision
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translates them into technical solutions that align with the organization’s goals and objectives
• Creates technical and non-functional requirements documentation to include visual representations of business processes and systems (i.e. current state, desired end state and performance of any gap analysis)
• Maintains multiple product backlogs by working across various teams to determine priority and level of effort
• Manages release/upgrade schedules while ensuring release notes are received, impacts are well understood, and pre/post deployment testing is completed

• Ability to plan, write, and execute manual testing to support defined requirements and Test Plan.

• Monitors and maintains system performance; conducts regular audits and provides recommendations for optimization and improvement
• Utilizes a variety of analytics, critical thinking, and problem-solving methods to find solutions to complex problems
• Able to effectively present information and respond to questions from all levels of the organization
• Auditing of roles and permissions in TMS
• Ability to maintain partnerships and relationships with vendors thus including periodic meetings, quarterly business reviews, and systemic health checks

• 2+ years of experience working on software and implementation projects, including some experience in all areas of the Software Development Life Cycle; Experience with Agile/Scrum, Waterfall projects methodologies preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in transportation management systems, MercuryGate TMS, Carma, MMO, Edge, FourKites
• Experience managing end to end supply chain projects
• Knowledge and development of financial processes related to transportation management systems
• Familiarity with transportation processes (inbound/outbound)
• Familiarity with warehouse and supply chain operations and functions

• Preference given to candidates with experience in any of the following areas:
• Warehouse Management, Transportation Management, and Yard Management software and processes, Reading/writing SQL
