Responsibilities:
As a Technical Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for:
1. Leading the technical accounting functions of the company, including the preparation and review of financial statements and reports.
2. Conducting thorough accounting research and analysis to ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
3. Developing and implementing accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
4. Preparing and reviewing accounting memos and technical papers.
5. Providing guidance on complex accounting issues, including ASC 606, ASC 718 and other relevant accounting standards.
6. Collaborating with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
7. Assisting in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
8. Providing training and guidance to junior accounting staff.
9. Participating in the development and implementation of strategic plans.
10. Keeping up-to-date with the latest developments in accounting standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the role of Technical Accounting Manager, you must have:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification is preferred.
2. A minimum of 1 to 3 years of public accounting experience.
3. Extensive knowledge of accounting standards and regulations, including ASC 718.
4. Strong experience in accounting research and the preparation of accounting memos.
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Strong leadership and team management skills.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
9. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
10. A commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
