Responsibilities:
- Provide technical accounting guidance on complex transactions, including transfer pricing, intercompany transactions, and mergers & acquisitions.
- Research and interpret new and existing accounting standards, and ensure their proper application within the company.
- Lead the implementation of new accounting standards and ensure that changes are effectively communicated to relevant stakeholders.
- Prepare and review technical accounting memoranda to document the company's accounting positions.
- Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate the annual audit process and address any technical accounting issues that arise.
- Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and other regulatory requirements.
- Support the financial reporting team in the preparation and review of financial statements and disclosures.
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ Years of Experience in Accounting, preferably in a Manufacturing setting
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master of Business Administration, MBA
- Certified Public Accountant, CPA
