Job Description:
Function:
- To define and refine IT Governance, risk, and other relevant policies for our Technology Group.
- This position will report to the Head of Architecture and partner with the technology teams as well as Audit, Risk and Human Resources functions.
- This individual will engage regularly with the CTO and technology leadership team as well.
Primary Responsibilities:
- The administration, implementation, and oversight of the IT Governance including relevant Policies, Procedures, Standards and Controls within area not limited to Asset, Inventory, Problem, Service, Incident, Issues and Change Management as appropriate.
- Foster a high-level approach by which technology architecture and engineering efforts can be assessed from a control perspective.
- Provide oversight and leadership on risk and controls aimed at validating the controls by which applications and other technology solutions are designed, developed, and deployed
Translate audit technology control requirements to internal business partners and drive alignment on governance requirements with key partners. - Develop and advance IT Governance best practices and procedures.
- Help optimizing IT controls and processes, but also understand the practical obstacles of implementing those principles in a complex technological ecosystem.
- Develop a scalable and repeatable approach to implement controls, monitor those controls, and facilitate internal external audits across various technology functions.
- Proactively identify gaps or conflicts in existing processes and drive remediation of control deficiencies identified during the audit process.
- Collaborate and facilitate the annual Cybersecurity assessment.
- Develop and implement a Technology Lifecycle Management (TLM) Program to manage and help prioritize technology debt through proper maintenance of the technology stack.
- Manage the Business Continuity /Disaster Recovery plans.
- Partner with CTO and senior leadership team in defining technology strategy and implementing a multi-year IT transformation effort.
Skills You Bring:
- Minimum of 10 years of work experience in governance, audit, compliance, risk, and / or security.
- High-level knowledge of IT risks across applications, infrastructure, and data.
- Expansive knowledge of technology controls in various IT environments.
- Experience implementing review and approval processes within a Secure Software.
- Development Lifecycle (SSDLC), including using modern fully integrated and automated processes within the CI/CD pipeline.
- Ability to effectively communicate and obtain buy-in at all levels of the organization and with internal stakeholders across the business.
- Working familiarity with Agile product management methodologies such as Scrum/Kanban.
- High attention to detail and quality, while balancing both practicality and value-creation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong understanding of Legal, Risk, Compliance, and Cybersecurity concerns.
- Bachelor's or Master's.
