Job Overview
The Senior AV Technician will lead residential AV projects, delivering top-tier installations and programming for luxury homes. This role includes providing technical expertise, mentoring junior technicians, and ensuring projects are executed seamlessly and on time.
You will work with cutting-edge technologies, including Control4, Lutron, and advanced networking systems, and contribute to delivering premium experiences to high-end clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead complex multi-room AV installations, setups, and calibrations.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting, programming, and commissioning of systems such as Control4, Lutron, and surveillance/security solutions.
- Design and wire full-sized equipment racks to industry standards.
- Provide advanced networking setup and deployment using Ruckus, ERO, and Access Networks solutions.
- Collaborate with project managers, sales teams, and clients to ensure successful project delivery.
- Act as a technical resource, leading and mentoring junior technicians.
- Maintain detailed project documentation and quality control.
- Deliver excellent customer service, maintaining the company's reputation for excellence.
Qualifications
- 5 years of AV field experience with residential installations.
- Certifications in Control4 Automation, Lutron RA3, or equivalent experience (willingness to train into certifications).
- Strong understanding of AV, networking, and automation systems.
- Ability to work independently and lead project teams.
- Detail-oriented with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., work on ladders/lifts, and travel as needed.
Physical Demands
- Physical requirements include standing, sitting, walking, bending, climbing, reaching, and lifting up to 80 lbs

Compensation
$65,000-$80,000 Annually (Based on Experience)
