Adult General Outpatient Team Leader (Full Time)
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Adult General Outpatient Program is looking for a clinical team leader to supervise a dynamic team of staff encompassing clinicians, case managers, a vocational specialist and a housing specialist. The candidate will need to have a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation, be highly motivated, a self-starter, possess an independent clinical license (LICSW/LMHC) and have significant experience working in the field of behavioral health with folks struggling with mental health, substance use and co-occurring disorders.
Clinical Responsibilities:
- Providing regular individual supervision to all staff in addition to running team meetings several times per week
- Managing crisis situations and/or providing consultation to staff in these situations
- Maintaining a caseload of 15-20 clients for therapy
- Addressing client concerns
Administrative Responsibilities:
- Reviewing quality of and ensuring deadlines are met by all staff for a variety of necessary documentation such as recovery plans and progress notes.
- Coordination with internal and external treatment providers.
- Updating client charts with appropriate program and staff information.
- Review and assignment of new client referrals into the department, managing referrals out of the department and review of records read to be closed.
- Monitoring program targets and requirements of funding sources.
EDUCATION AND TRAINING REQUIRED:
- Master's degree and an independent clinical license (LICSW/LMHC)
