About the Job
Our IT infrastructure team is looking to add a motivated Field Support Technician Team Lead to assist us with our growing operations. In this role, you will work in support of all areas of United Wholesale Mortgage IT operations. This role will oversee IT asset management, IT Governance, and improve our software. This is a great opportunity to grow your career within our IT division, building upon skills in project management, Active Directory and SCCM, and how IT is applied to the mortgage origination process.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Supervise day-to-day operations of Field Support Technician Team. Ensure that the workload is distributed evenly and that service goals are achieved.
- Lead by setting a good example - behavior consistent with words. Create an environment oriented to trust, open communication, creative thinking, and cohesive team effort
- Manage all of our AV processes
- Develop our Desktop engineers
- Order equipment for all IT necessities
- Encourage creativity, risk-taking, and constant improvement amongst the team. Recognize and celebrate team and team member accomplishments and exceptional performance. Intervene when necessary to aid the group in resolving issues
- Communicate clear instructions to team members and hold them accountable when goals and objectives are not met
- Communicate to business clients, technical teams and management in a consistent manner making complex technical issues and solutions clear, simple and understandable
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
Must Have Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience Desktop Engineer
- Ability to create and manage packages and collections for central software management using SCCM.
- Ability to create and manage packages and collections for central software management using SCCM.
- Enterprise level Active Directory and group policy administration experience
- Ability to actively collaborate with Field techs/server for Active Directory policy configuration and updates.
- Exemplary communication skills and strong problem solving skills
- Ability to work effectively and with minimal direct supervision
