We are looking for a dedicated Science Teacher for Bath, NY. In the role of a Teacher with us, your primary responsibility will involve fostering a conducive learning environment for assigned students, aimed at achieving positive outcomes and skill development. Demonstrating adeptness in behavior management is crucial, alongside the capability to tailor instruction to accommodate the diverse needs of our student body. Collaboration within the treatment team is essential for effective performance in this capacity.

What will you do:
- Demonstrate effective classroom management through the establishment of clear boundaries and rules to encourage student self-management and accountability.
- Display proficiency in behavior management, employing preventative measures, intervention strategies, and problem-solving techniques.
- Serve as a positive adult role model for students and colleagues, exhibiting professionalism in communication, personal presentation, self-regulation, and interpersonal interactions.
- Develop a thorough understanding of students' educational, social, and personal challenges and strengths.
- Maintain a commitment to excellence by efficiently utilizing resources including time, materials, technology, and personnel to enhance educational outcomes.
- Exhibit proficient classroom management techniques by implementing clear boundaries and rules that empower students to self-regulate and take responsibility for their actions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
- NYS Education Certification is required for grades 7-12
- Must have a valid driver’s license and meet agency driving standards
- Must be able to work full time (40 hour) Monday-Friday between 7:30am – 3:30pm
Location:
- Bath, NY
Salary Range:
- $51,480 -69,888 annually, based on experience.
- Full time (40 hours) Monday – Friday
