Essential Duties:

• Teach curriculum to students and ensure a process of critical thinking within classroom
• Measure student achievement through regular educator designed assessments and evaluation
• Employ a data-driven approach to teaching practices
• Engage in cross-functional and collaborative communication with educator team in areas of lesson planning, teacher observation and student learning metrics
• Act as a role model to students, demonstrating alignment with organizational values, policies and culture
• Develop and maintain family relationships and consistent communication with students and their families
• Direct support staff within the classroom

Requirements:

• This role requires an active Wisconsin Teaching Certification (preferably in subject area) and a bachelor's degree or a bachelor’s degree in a related field and the ability to attain a charter school teaching license for the state of WI
• Commitment to the success of students, unwavering belief in the ability of students to achieve success
• A desire to impact student success in an urban school environment and to make a difference in the communities our client serves
