Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Teacher Associate to join our dedicated team of professionals. As a valued member, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping young minds, adhering to Vermont State Regulations for Teacher Associates. Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with fellow educators to develop and implement engaging curriculum aligned with Developmentally Appropriate Practices and Vermont Early Learning Standards.
Foster cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development through thoughtfully planned activities.
Maintain open communication channels with families, ensuring transparency and involvement in their child's educational journey.
Uphold center policies and state regulations, prioritizing the safety and well-being of all children.
Cultivate a nurturing classroom environment in compliance with state guidelines and best practices.
Conduct ongoing observations, assessments, and documentation to track children's progress and inform instructional strategies.
Commit to personal and professional growth through continuous learning and development initiatives.
Requirements:
Meet Vermont State Regulations for Teacher Associates.
Minimum age of twenty (20) years.
High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, children, and families.
Comprehensive understanding of child development principles.
Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal abilities.
Current Infant/Child CPR and First Aid Certification.
Completion of Mandated Reporter Training.
Satisfactory Background Check and Fingerprinting Clearance.
Completion of Vermont Orientation Training.
Qualifications:
Candidates must meet at least one of the following qualifications:
Vermont Early Childhood Career Ladder Level Three (3) Certificate; or
Associate degree in Early Childhood Education, Child or Human Development, Elementary Education, or related field, with a minimum of twelve (12) months of relevant experience; or
Certificate of Completion from the Registered Child Care Apprenticeship Program; or
