Your Role
As a Teacher Assistant, you are not just joining a team—you are stepping into a purpose-driven environment where your daily actions create a profound impact on the lives of young learners with special needs. Role Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• New York State Certification as a Teacher Assistant.
• A collaborative mindset and a commitment to fostering growth and inclusion for young learners.

What You’ll Do

• Champion Learning: Partner with the classroom teacher to plan and execute engaging activities that inspire growth and discovery for each child.
• Support Individual Needs: Provide focused attention and care, assisting children with instructional activities that align with their unique learning goals.
• Build Connections: Foster meaningful relationships by working collaboratively with the teaching team, students, and their families.
• Promote Progress: Document milestones and achievements to contribute to personalized learning strategies tailored to each child’s development.
• Ensure a Safe Space: Create a structured, nurturing environment by assisting with transitions, including escorting children throughout the school building.
• Inspire Excellence: Contribute your creativity and passion to enrich classroom experiences in areas like art, music, and crafts.
