Your Role

Role Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- New York State Certification as a Teacher Assistant.
- A collaborative mindset and a commitment to fostering growth and inclusion for young learners.
What You’ll Do
- Champion Learning: Partner with the classroom teacher to plan and execute engaging activities that inspire growth and discovery for each child.
- Support Individual Needs: Provide focused attention and care, assisting children with instructional activities that align with their unique learning goals.
- Build Connections: Foster meaningful relationships by working collaboratively with the teaching team, students, and their families.
- Promote Progress: Document milestones and achievements to contribute to personalized learning strategies tailored to each child’s development.
- Ensure a Safe Space: Create a structured, nurturing environment by assisting with transitions, including escorting children throughout the school building.
- Inspire Excellence: Contribute your creativity and passion to enrich classroom experiences in areas like art, music, and crafts.
