In this role, the Job Captain/Interior Designer will work with clients, engineers and contractors to keep projects on-track in order to meet deadlines.  Specific responsibilities include developing schematic designs and design development documents, creating digital and/or physical material boards to present to clients, and coordinating the various elements of the project.  In addition, the Job Captain/Interior Designer will process permits and supervise construction administration.

Qualifications include a Bachelors degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture or Interior Design and a minimum of three (3) years of experience in a Job Captain and/or Interior Designer role.  Conceptual and design skills and knowledge of construction methods is mandatory.  The ability to meet deadlines and budget time is required.  The ideal candidate will have a flexible and open attitude towards new ways of working.  Strong computer skills are necessary – specifically with AutoCAD, Revit, MicroSoft and Adobe.  Experience with Sketchup and/or BlueBeam is preferred.
